The waterfall is located along the Kaveri River, which separates into two sections and falls in two different places: Gaganachukki and Bharachukki. Chitrakote Waterfalls, Asia’s and India’s largest waterfall, is also known as “India’s Niagara Falls.” The waterfall is located in the Indian state of Chattisgarh, and it is powered by the Indravati river in the Bastar district. You can also pay a visit to the old Shiva temple, which is located nearby the waterfall.

With a height of 340 metres (1120 feet) and a breadth of 23 metres (75 feet), the Nohkalikai waterfall is India’s highest plunge waterfall. The falls drop nearly 200 feet in two steps from the Kumaradhara River. The river continues on from Mallalli Falls, merging with the Netravati River before reaching the Arabian Sea at Mangalore.
