To qualify for the finals India has to win the test series against England by the margin of 2-1 or 3-1. To put up this in simple words, India has to ensure that
England does not win another match from here. And India to win at least one match to book their tickets for Lord’s.

England:

As for England and Joe Root’s team, the situation is much tougher. England has to win the remaining matches from here and win the series by 3-1. If
they want to qualify for the finals of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC).

Australia:

Australia too has a very good chance of making it to the finals of the World Test Championship at Lord’s. If England managed to win the test series against India by
2-1, or if the series ends on the draw at 1-1, or 2-2, then it will be Australia who will meet black caps in the final of WTC at Lord’s.
